(Kathleen) Sheila Ferriss
Appley, Ryde, Isle of Wight, England
and formerly
Oughterard, Co. Galway, Ireland
Sheila passed away peacefully in Victoria House Care Home, Ryde, Isle of Wight, on 31st January 2024. Enveloped to the end with the same care, kindness and professionalism that Sheila administered throughout her lifelong nursing and midwifery career and in her many years on the missions.
Sheila is predeceased by her loving parents, Ellen and Jones Ferriss, her siblings, Pansy, Johnny, Michael, Robert (Bob), Sr. Joan, Nettie (McDonagh) and her nephew Paul Ferriss.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Eileen (Lydon), Doreen (O’Flanagan) and brother Jones, her sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and relatives; along with her friends, neighbours and church community.
